High School Boys Vipers Lacrosse Overview
Vipers Lacrosse is the club team for Vandegrift High School Boys Lacrosse. Our high school team is a Division I team with both Varsity and JV teams that compete in the Central Texas division of the Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL).
Our program is starting its 6th season and we are extremely proud of our program, our players and coaches. Our goal is to build the leaders of tomorrow by teaching them the value of hard-work, teamwork and life experiences gained through participation in the great game of lacrosse.
Our Varsity team is a D1 program that has been consistently rated one of the best in Central Texas. This is a highly competitive team and requires full commitment from our players.
Our JV team is a JV D1 program that has proven to be a tremendous development platform for our future varsity players. While still an extremely competitive team, the mission of the JV team is also to ensure that the players have developed the skills necessary to compete at the varsity level.
Fall Ball Program
We expect all new and returning high school players to come out and participate! The focus will be on skills development and improvement for both JV and Varsity players. Our goal will be to “practice with a purpose” culminating in our JV and Varsity participation in the Bitter Lacrosse Tournament. The goal is to send both a JV and a Varsity team. We realize participation is not possible for VHS football players. There will be additional tryouts in the spring for the regular spring season.
